註釋Consists of correspondence, certificates and legal documents, drafts and published versions of writings by Samora and others, card files, charts, research notes, maps, pamphlets, posters, photographs, sound recordings, multi-media kits, and artifacts. The bulk of the material dates from the 1940s through the mid-1980s and reflects activities of Samora as scholar, educator, and consultant. Personal and biographical materials include marriage and birth certificates, diplomas, awards, resumés, newspaper articles, and financial records. Correspondence relates to academic and teaching activities, writing and editing, sociological research in New Mexico, Colorado, Illinois, Mexico, Colombia, and along the U.S.-Mexico border. Areas of interest are immigration, Mexican Americans, migrant workers, medical sociology, population, and the Texas Rangers.
