Lipids in Infant Nutrition
註釋Readers of this volume will be provided with the latest evidence regarding the effects of supplementation with arachidonic and docosahexaenoic acids. Results from studies with infants and from experimental animals are presented that shed light on the complex role of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids in infant development. The importance of a variety of milk nutrients (fatty acids, cholesterol, antioxidants, enzymes, nucleotides, trans fatty acids, gangliosides, choline, and phospholipids) used in normal tissue development is also discussed.
