One Handbook (paperback, 292 p.) of the National Rifle Association, London; one leather bound Cavalry Drill handbook (460 p.); two booklets, the first entitled Standing Orders of the Council of the Victorian Rifle Association, Melbourne, and the second, an Official Programme and Scoring Book of the Association, all owned by Sgt Jack A. Ross. Three of the books were were priced at one shilling. Also seven letters from Sgt Jack A. Ross to his family, May 5th, 1897 to June 7th, 1898, covering his journey to and from England, where he competed with the Victorian Rifle Association for the Queen's Cup at Bisley.
