註釋This report describes a prelmininary investigation of the effect of a thin layer of liquid coating orifice flowmeter surface on the performance of the flowmeter. Natural gas pipeline conditions were simulated by flowing air through a piping system containing an orifice flowmeter. The range of Reynolds numbers and the system pressure conditions were typical of those found in natural gas pipelines.
