註釋This study explores awareness, engagement, perceptions, and barriers to lifelong learning under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, using a cross-sectional design across India's five regions. Data were collected from 2,000 respondents via stratified random sampling to ensure demographic diversity. Results showed that awareness of NEP 2020 varied significantly, with Southern India exhibiting the highest awareness (45.3%) and Central India the lowest (33.9%). Lifelong learning engagement was highest among individuals aged 18–25 (68.3%) and in urban regions (65.4%), while rural areas reported substantial barriers, including limited technological access (72.4%) and financial constraints (70%). Positive perceptions of lifelong learning were strongest in technology sectors (72.4%) and the Western region (74.6%), while traditional industries like agriculture lagged behind (42.1%). The study identifies financial limitations, digital divides, and time constraints as critical barriers and proposes targeted interventions such as subsidized learning programs, adaptive technologies, and regionalized implementation strategies. These findings highlight the importance of inclusive policies to advance lifelong learning under NEP 2020. Keywords: Lifelong Learning, National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Digital Divide, Skill Development, Education Inequality.
