Letters to Kathy
註釋A series of notes and love letters written by James Traill Lyon, a gifted Canadian writer - at times full of humour and laughter, then drifting into melancholy and nostalgia, lost in a shroud of mystery and pain, all within a stream of intense realpolitik and mischief. Found floating in the St.Lawrence River by a fisherman and graciously returned, the letters gradually reveal an old story of two star-crossed lovers fighting against all internal and external odds for a place in the sun. Although intentionally confined to the deep, where their secrets could be kept safe, the letters refused to sink and would not be damned to oblivion. Like silent merlins, they arose - lest it be forgot that for one brief and shining moment, there really was a Camelot. So, finally, here they are in chronological order. Just as they were: punctuation, spacing, and spelling remain unchanged and are not corrected.
