註釋
The city of a 100 spires is one of Europe’s most beautiful with architectural styles ranging from the Gothic through to Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Communist Modernism. Today the historical centre is more vibrant than ever as visitors from around the world pour into the city to visit the sights. However, Prague is much more than a collection of monuments, once out of the centre, Czech life is centered around rich Bohemian food, crisp Moravian wines and traditional Czech Pilsner. In recent years the city has taken on a more cosmopolitan flavour and with its introduction into Europe Prague has become the gateway to the East. Our second edition has delved deeper into the real Prague, since our first was released three years ago much has changed. The city has seen a rise in the number of chic boutique hotels, first class restaurants as well as the renaissance of the suburbs. Today exploring the city is as much about discovering the joys of Vinohrady, Zizkov and Karlin as it is about staring in awe at the majesty of the skyline. We have gone further than most to steer visitors away from the overcrowded tourist centre into the places we know they’ll really love.
