Argues that Europe has to return from the slow but steady dismantling of social protection and job security provisions. Suggests that otherwise it will be quite probable that two types of erosion, 'working poor' on the one hand and atypical labour relations on the other hand will further accumulate at the lowest echelon of European labour markets.
