Prof. Jan Bastiaans of Leiden University treated concentration camp trauma victims between 1968-88, using LSD, provoking hallucinations based on Auschwitz experiences. This treatment was forbidden in the Netherlands and in other countries. The account relates to Dinur's experiences in Auschwitz.
