Memoirs Of Hans Hendrik, The Arctic Traveller, Serving Under Kane, Hayes, Hall and Nares, 1853-1876
註釋These are the memoirs of Hans Hendrik (Suersaq; 1832-1889), a Kalaallit interpreter who was the first Inuk to publish an account of his travels. Hendrik took part of the Second Grinnell expedition, Hayes' expedition, the Polaris expedition, and the British Arctic Expedition of 1875-1876. In addition to taking in part in four Arctic expeditions, Hendrik visited New York City and Washington DC and recorded in these memoirs his impressions of America.
