Historic Buildings at Mystic Seaport Museum
註釋Mystic Seaport includes historic structures standing on their original sites and buildings transported to the museum from elsewhere in New England and New York. The authors drew upon their experience in researching and restoring the buildings to describe 21 historic structures, including an eighteenth-century house, several nineteenth-century dwellings, a life-saving station, a sail loft, fish house, shipsmith shop, ropewalk, schoolhouse, chapel, bank, and two nineteenth-century mill buildings. Produced under a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, this work is handsomely illustrated with historic and contemporary photographs. Historic Buildings received an award of merit from the Connecticut League of Historical Societies.
