註釋Women have typically been lumped into different categories; wife-mothers in one box, single happily childless in a different and oft-hated box, lesbians in another, and so on. The editor was inspired to work to unite all different types of and views on women after spending a lifetime being discriminated against by straight and gay women alike for her being a nonconformist to any of their lifestyle choices. She also wanted to invite men into the conversation, and not just to say flattering things about women but to talk about their real experiences with women, positive or negative. This book explores women: mothers, happily childless, bisexual, and everyone in between, without censoring any of women's experiences from having children to having abortions or using their minds to pursue Sustainable Business and eco-friendly practices. And without disregarding the experiences men have with women (good or bad) as women are neither saints nor whores but real people. It has a companion wesbite, allvoicesheard.weebly.com, which includes a "Resources for all" section to showcase charities/ non-profits representing causes for all different women and girls around the world, including one or two addressing father's rights as women can't be liberated without liberating men, at least a little. This and the editors' other books are available as E-book and Paperback through Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Powell's Books, and elsewhere.
