Educational Data
註釋The purpose of this publication is to give education officials and those concerned with comparative education in particular, an overall picture of the basic organization of the educational systems of the countries of Western Europe. It contains copies of educational data on 19 countries of Western Europe. In compiling the information about each country no attempt is made to give direct and exact comparisons with similar institutions in this country. Occasional indications are given as to the possible equivalent level in the United States. The principal indication is the point at which the schooling abroad would approximate high school graduation in the United States. Because of the differences in organization and philosophy of education existing between the United States and Western Europe, it is not possible to make definite and precise statements of equivalency.
