The Distribution of Foraminifera in the Eastern Ross Sea, Amundsen Sea and Bellingshausen Sea, Antarctica
註釋The purpose of this study was to examine the distribution of Foraminifera found in 17 cores taken by the United States Navy as part of the Deep Freeze 61 project and to determine the effect, if possible, of the ecologic factors of depth, temperature, and salinity on the foraminiferal assemblages. A secondary purpose was to verify the existence of any currents that control distribution as proposed by William M. McKnight (1962). One hundred-four species were identified and nine species were give letter designations. These species are included in 55 genera.
