Guidelines on Certain Aspects of Homosexuality
註釋This book is designed to provide health care personnel with guidelines for increasing their knowledge and awareness of sexuality in general, and homosexuality in particular. It is felt that with this knowledge and awareness, the health professional will be better equipped to provide help to the homosexual patient, whatever that patient's reason for seeking help. The book is to be used in a group, made up of social workers and health personnel, with the guidance of a trainer/supervisor. Teaching aids include self-evaluation tests, exercises, trigger pictures, and instructional text. The guidelines are divided into 5 modules, Human Sexuality - What is it?, Anthropological and Conceptual Aspects of Homosexuality, Origins of Homosexuality, Is there a Relationship between Homosexuality and Psychopathology, and Homosexual Identity. Each module is then divided into 4 parts, a pre-evaluation of attitudes, learning objectives, training content, and exercises. Appendices include an attitude test and additional exercises.
