註釋Travis Jackson Bonner (1824-1902), a Confederate soldier, was born in Georgia, the son of James Bonner. He and his wife, Louisa (1828-1892), were married ca. 1846, probably in Talbot County, Georgia. The family migrated to Alabama sometime after 1850 but before the Civil War. Travis and Louisa Bonner died in Crenshaw County, Alabama. Their son, James Benjamin Bonner (1847-1915), a Confederate soldier, married twice and was the father of ten children. He died at Gordon, Houston County, Alabama. Record chiefly follows line of descent to Robert Lee Bonner (1875-1963) of Houston County, Alabama, and his daughter, Mary Sue Bonner Hagler (b. 1904). Most descendants listed live in Alabama.
