註釋This book describes the building by architect Francisco Artigas constructed for the INIFED, Mexicoœs federal school construction agency formerly known as CAPFCE. A milestone for modernity in Mexico, this building was important, both on account of the government institution that occupied it, as well as for its remarkable elegance and location. Fernando Luna writes a short introduction in which the architect gives a personal account of Artigasœs work; Alejandro Hernández Gálvez contributes a three-part retrospective: on the institution, the building and the architect. The book also includes two photographic essays, one by Fernando Luna with images from the period, and another by Jordi Bernadó with modern-day pictures that show two different aspects of the building, not only in time and space, but also in terms of color.
