Future Victories, Part II
註釋This book of "Future Victories" Part II continues the story a decade after Part I ended. Part I is a fictitious story set in post-Cold War 1995 that will make you wonder if the Russian threat is really over. The CIA discovers an intricate and highly organized plot dating back to the Cold War in which the Soviet Union installed atomic bombs in major U.S. cities with plans to detonate them simultaneously to bring the U.S. economy to its knees. Part II contains many of Part I's characters and is set in the post 9/11 era. Homeland Security becomes aware of the possibility of two suitcase nuclear bombs in the hands of Islamic terrorists in the U.S. It is a race against time and across the country to track the bombs and to capture them from enemy hands before the terrorists set them off. In the course of tracking down the suitcase bombs, it becomes apparent that the terrorists have other weapons of mass destruction already deployed in the U.S. that present additional threats.
