註釋
The National Gallery hosts the first major retrospective of Maria Lassnig (Austria, 1919-2014) in the Czech Republic. The exhibition features 50 large-format paintings, drawings and watercolour series, sculptures, and fils attesting to the artist's interest in body exploration and self-presentation. The exhibition spans the artist's entire 70-year career, from abstract works she made in Vienna in the 1940s, through her painting experiments in New York and Paris including her cinematic works, to works she created after her return to Austria, including some rarely exhibited sculptures. Last but not least, visitors can view paintings, drawings and watercolours the artist made in her final years, focusing on self-portraiture and investigating the idea behind much of Lassnig's art, namely the notion of "body awareness", concentrating on introspective experiences. On view along with "My Animation Is an Artform. Maria Lassnig, the Filmmaker" (Moving Image Department) which focuses on Lassnig's pioneering animation work. The exhibition was prepared in cooperation with Maria Lassning Foundation Vienna and it is held under the auspices of the Austrian Embassy in Prague and with the support of the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague. Curated by Adam Budak, in a collaboration with Kasia Redzisz.--from http://ngprague.cz.
