Robert B. Thompson Civil War Papers
註釋Correspondence and memoirs of Private Robert B. Thompson of the 2nd Pennsylvania Cavalry. The letters were written to his cousin John C. Thompson of Bart Township, Lancaster County, Pa., who is believed to have been recovering from wounds he received while serving with the 178th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment in the summer of 1863. The letters include a description of life in a military camp and a discussion of events just prior to the close of the Civil War.
