"On July 30, 1963, the Development Plan proposed by Erickson Massey for Simon Fraser University was adopted. This report presents the results of the first month's work on the architectural problems involved in establishing the University according to this plan. During this month, academic and physical requirements have been given further detailed study. Topographical, sub-soil and geological surveys and other engineering studies have been made with the assistance of the consulting engineers. This work is now sufficient to form the basis for the Simon Fraser University Development Plan contained in this report." - intro.
