註釋Although the book, LOOKING BACK, begins with a short genealogy of the family roots, it is an autobiography of the author's life struggle while growing up on a farm in the South during segregation and the Jim Crow Laws of the 1950's and 60's. The book takes the reader on a journey of over sixty years from a one-room schoolhouse to a postgraduate degree, from primitive conditions to modern living, and from financial limitation to prosperity and good fortune.
