Memory's Frosted Pane
註釋I suspect Iave been a poet all of my life, but I didnat put down the words until the early Nineties. I have continued to do so ever since. To me, poetry is seeing the ordinary beyond the sight lines of everyday vision and putting words to the experience. This book of free verse is a compilation of those words, words that reflect an amalgam of personal experiences and professional experiences as a clinical social worker. Because the works emanate from my subjective understanding, they are unique in time and place, but they also mirror timeless universal themes such as relationships to self, others and nature; time and its ephemeral qualities; crisis and renewal; hope and courage; and the realization that all that was still is. It is my hope that you, the reader, will find your own communion with the poems so that our silent conversation may continue to be enriched.
