He began his aviation career as an agricultural pilot and later served his country as a United States Marine Corps fighter pilot. He has worked as acommercial aviator for airlines and air freight companies; is a flight instructor and licensed A&P mechanic; has built, restored, and flown vintage aircraft; and owns a successful airport in North Texas, which is home to over 500 general aviation aircraft. His most rewarding accomplishment to date, however, is flying the remarkable Hurricane Katrina and Rita relief missions with copilot Denny Ghiringhelli-the story of Angel Flight 44. RICH VERMILLION: Rich Vermillion is an ordained Spirit-filled Christian minister, public speaker, and author.
