Waiting for Penelope
註釋Waiting for Penelope' comprises an anthology of writings by Johnny D. Mills. A graduate in Theology and Religious Studies, Mills' interest in religion and philosophy extends through both his professional and personal life. Born in Yorkshire and raised in the rural coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay, Mills' keen interest in Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Gnosticism and Taoism led him to explore his spirituality. Later, following in the work of Joseph Campbell, Mills became engrossed in the realms of mythology, an interest that ultimately led him to pursue his interest in poetry. Drawing on a range of different ideas and themes, Johnny D. Mills has created in his anthology a fascinating example of creative writing for the modern day, exploring many of life's big questions and exploring themes such as life, death, salvation, love, and the natural world.
