Part 3, Fall, comes after the end of World War I, as manufacturing and distribution in Baltimore's needle trades begin to cool, never again to be the city's leading industries. Part 4 is truly a Winter Setting. Changes occur in manner of dress which are compatible with modern lifestyles, and incursions from the Orient inflict the deathblow to the needle trades--Jacket.
