註釋This report compiles data on over a thousand major oxide & trace element whole-rock geochemical analyses of komatiites and related rocks of Archean age from around the world. Data have been selected from literature searches and the Ontario Geological Survey PETROCH database. The data are partitioned into two sub-groups: an extrusive group of 1,121 samples and an intrusive group of 172 samples. Information on how to use the electronic version of the komatiite database is also included.
