Exploring human behaviour in different educational contexts is much
more complicated than it seems at first glance, due to the low level of reproducibility of
experimental data. Through this publication, which completes literature in educational
sciences, those interested in detailed presentation from the theoretical, but also practical
point of view of every stage needed to be addressed in an educational research
investigating the response of a target group under the influence of external and
moderating variables, will be able to deepen their theoretical knowledge related to univariate and multivariate statistical data analysis. The publication is bilingual (Romanian-English) and contains 6 chapters, context, argument and bibliography. The concerned subjects are the following: selection of methods used in educational research; development and validation of a research instrument; descriptive statistics, comparative tests of ordinary data; description of factorial - exploratory analyses; confirmatory analyses and structural equation modelling (SEM) - multigroup analyses.
