We are pleased to present the series My Book of Computer Studies for Classes 1 to 8,

based on the latest curriculum prepared and recommended by the Council for the Indian

School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, to be effective from the academic year

2017-18 and onwards. This new curriculum provides children with opportunities to use

modern technology to enhance their learning in all subjects. It also ensures that children

become digitally literate, i.e., able to use, and express themselves and develop their

ideas through ICT for the future workplace and as active participants in the digital world.
