At one point in time, storytellers were the main source of history, as stories were passed from one storyteller to another. I grew up with a grandpa who was full of stories. I loved them and remember more of them than most of my cousins, and some made it into the story of Eliot. Listen to your parents and grandparents, as they have stories to tell, too.
