Untersuchungen zur Rezeption der nationalsozialistischen Weltanschauung in den konfessionellen Periodika der Niederlande 1933-1940
註釋Surveys reactions to German Nazism in the Protestant and Catholic press in the Netherlands in the 1930s, including extensive discussion of persecution of the Jews. After summarizing relevant articles in each of the journals surveyed, concludes that Protestant and Catholic journals alike repudiated antisemitism as un-Christian, but at the same time partly blamed the Jews themselves because of their alleged domination of economic and cultural life. Only the Catholic monthly "De Nieuwe Gemeenschap" was openly antisemitic. Quotations are given in the original Dutch.
