註釋
At present, there is a considerable interest in analysing dynamic fractures, since the hazards involved in rapid crack propagation can be substantial, even catastrophic. In our study the investigation of material behaviour during RCP was performed on two diffrenet systems (bulk and joint) with the SENT specimens. Under high speeds of crack propagation the apparent toughness of the tested specimens increases, largely due to dynamic effects, inertia and stress wave propagation, which are even more pronounced in brittle matrials. The numerical analysis by FEM was implemented and the results show that RCP is not covered by the FEM approach. Due to the high strain rates and the assumption that Young's modulus at the crack tip is much lower, the values of dynamic toughness are lower and almost constant during RCP. The modelling of the local non-linearity with a "local strip" model is further improved.
