Energy, a Classified Bibliography, 1970-1985
註釋Economic development and the rapid planned industrialization, and population growth has created a great demand for energy in India. Since more than a decade, a vast amount of literature has been published on this subject as many organizations and the researchers have been engaged in research to find out alternative resources of energy to meet the problem of shortage of energy. About 4300 references are listed in this bibliography. These references have been chosen from more than 260 Indian Journals. The present bibliography which is comprised of books, chapters from books, monographs, institutional publications, working papers, articles, government publications and publications of the international organizations, should fill an important gap which has so long existed in this field. To facilitate the further use of this bibliography all entries have been classified and placed under more than 85 different subject headings. The aim of this selective bibliography is to provide with an authoritative and comprehensive literature on all the important facets of the Indian energy scene and problems.
