Para la presente edición bilingüe, la autora ha introducido numerosas modificaciones en el texto español. En cuanto a la versión inglesa, es el producto de una cercana colaboración entre la autora y el traductor; de hecho, la autora ha mejorado la traducción en incontables puntos. Ambos, la autora y el traductor están encantados de que una nueva y más amplia audiencia tenga ahora la oportunidad de experimentar el impacto de estos conmovedores, inquietantes y apasionantes relatos. A previous version of these tales was published in Spanish under the title Nuestros mitos de cada día (Madrid, nuevosescritores, 2007); that book was shortlisted of the inaugural "Premio Literario Éride Ediciones". For the present bilingual edition, the author has introduced many modifications to the Spanish text. As for the English version, this is the product of a close collaboration between author and translator; indeed the author has improved the translation at countless points. Both, author and translator, are delighted that a new and wider audience will now have the chance to experience the impact of these moving, disturbing and gripping tales.
