Under the Federal Government's 2016-17 budget, changes have been made to how superannuation contributions are taxed and capped. This paper analyses the impact of these changes for different age groups and gender, and the impact on retirement saving for older female workers. This analysis uses NATSEM's Tax/Transfer microsimulation model STINMOD+.
