The Life and Opinions of Herr Andreas Von Balthesser, Dandy and Dilettante
註釋Richard von Schaukal (1874-1942) belongs to the generation of Viennese writers who introduced Modernism into Austrian literature. A civil servant by profession, Schaukal left an oeuvre of poetry, prose, essays and many translations into German from French and English. The present volume is the most noteworthy treatment of dandyism, a firework of witticisms, episodes and striking observations.
