註釋Hans Christian Anderson, best known for his fairy tales, was also a travel writer. In 1840 he began a journey that took him to Italy, Malta, Greece and the Ottoman Empire. From Constantinople, we went north along the shores of the Black Sea and made his way back to Vienna by sailing the Danube. In 1842 he published this chronicle of his travels.
