Educational Leadership and Social Capital
註釋Noting that the focus on school improvement has been very successful in many respects and has had a demonstrable impact on school standards, the authors question the extent to which this improvement can be sustained and the capacity that there is to raise standards for all children. Using examples form international research and practice, they argue that it is time to focus on the social environment of the learner, particularly in terms of the development of relationships across the educational and broader community, rather than increasing the emphasis on the technology of teaching.
