註釋George Gray (ca. 1650-1718) emigrated from Barbados to Philadelphia where he married Mary Beardsley in 1692. After her death he went back to Barbados where he died. Descendants lived chiefly in Pennsylvania where one descendant, George, 4th, became speaker of the Pennsylvania Assembly.
