註釋Integrated farming has a special role to play in small holders farms averaging 1.5 hectare of land. Technology available to improve productivity from integrated farm is influenced by many interacting factors - biological, economical, political and sociological. An experimental study of integrating goat and duck production with aquaculture, based on a model suitable for implementation in small holders' farms is in progress. This paper will present some results to show the biological advantage of mixed livestock - fish farming over monoculture systems.
