The decline of faith did not begin with the faithful. The divinity of Jesus was denied by Prof. Joseph Ratzinger: "God did not become man, but a man became God". It is incomprehensible why the right-believing clergy and the faithful, in the face of this open declaration of war of hell, did nothing. Both were in sleep mode.
