註釋
This new volume addresses the use of FTIR spectroscopy in characterizing the molecular structure of aggregates such as micelles and bilayers, and in studying interfaces and surfaces modified by the presence of polymers and amphiphilic molecules. An overview chapter reviews the wide range of
colloidal systems and interfaces that can be studied by FTIR spectroscopy. Subsequent chapters are divided into two sections that address colloidal aggregates and interfacial phenomena. The first section demonstrates how FTIR spectroscopy is used to obtain information about the intermolecular
interactions that are critical to the integrity of micelles and bilayers. Section two focuses on the use of FTIR spectroscopy to study adsorption kinetics and the structure of film and layers on various substrates.
