註釋William Henry Davis (1836-1915) was born at London, England, the son of William and Charlotte Adams Davis. His family immigrated to the United States, ca. 1838. He married Sarah Jane Pearch (1843-1906) in 1859 at Brooklyn, New York. They had fourteen children, 1860-1883, all born at Brooklyn. William Henry and Sara Jane Davis are buried in the Evergreens Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York. Descendants live in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, California, and elsewhere.
