Notched Sunsets
註釋Poetry. The poems in this book are attempts at keeping time. A sonnet sequence constructed by writing one line a day with a month passing in between every line of each sonnet, and each of the lines tweeted immediately after being written, NOTCHED SUNSETS navigates toward unknown ends to arrive elsewhere and never where initially planned. The second part of the book, "Node Nets," provides notes on the sonnets first thoughts, web searches, dictionary definitions, and the occasional stock image. The third part of the book, "Zwitschern in der Dammerung," recapitulates the lines in reverse chronological order, re-punctuated and reconfigured from the Twitter feed. The poem starts on Bastille Day and ends on the same day Carl Gustav Witt discovered the asteroid 433 Eros."
