MADLY: Too Much Too Soon.

We all sin. It’s the choices made after that define us.

Natasha Perry is most comfortable camouflaged in ‘ordinary’ - a trait learned from when a drunken father trashed her innocence. The addiction and entrapment which followed have left her mentally broken, fighting for daily control of a psychotic storm driven by her alter-egos - Goldilocks and The Slut. Now she survives by hiding behind a mask of controlled ‘nothing special’, with a song in her head. But that control is spun on its axis when she meets tall, dark, and delicious Dr Sebastian Mancini.

Sebastian is a man who has a troubled and shady past, which is hidden by his powerful mafia family - a family who will do anything to safeguard their name and reputation. But after years of submitting to their control, Sebastian finds the wish for a different life ever stronger. When he entertains the idea of more than a hot one-night stand with Natasha, will he be forced to defy his family, despite the risk, for the sake of his own desires?

Their meeting begins a chain of events which feels like too much, too soon, in every way – yet they seem helpless to stop, drawn into a situation where their pasts collide. It seems the questions left unanswered in their pasts are destined to destroy them both – but is it truly the echoes of the past which are hunting them, or is it someone closer to home, who’s using Sebastian and Natasha’s innermost secrets, weaknesses, and predilections as weapons?

Will they survive alone or together?

Do they want to survive at all, in a world hellbent on tearing them apart?

What might a life together look like, if they can survive?

‘Madly’ follows all that is seductive, dangerous, and soulful about sex, drugs and rock and roll. Their plight is complemented by the soundtrack in Nat’s mind, a lens coloured in the tones of music, which soothes her troubled mind. The story delves into the madness of inner voices and the masks so-called ordinary people hide behind when dealing with lust, love, guilt and ambition.
