Der deutsche Film 1938-1945
註釋Pp. 64-67 mention the expulsion of Jewish actors, writers, and directors from the German film industry. Pp. 307-318 give an account of antisemitic propaganda in Nazi German films. The first antisemitic film was a Swedish import - "Petersson und Bendel". "Die Rothschilds" was intended not only as anti-Jewish but also as anti-British propaganda. Describes the production of "Jud Süss" and the role of director Veit Harlan. The pseudo-documentary film "Der ewige Jude" was produced in order to show the "repellent" character of the Jew. Hatred of Jews was expressed in short documentaries as well, such as "Juden, Läuse, Typhus" by Alfred Stöger, an Austrian director.
