註釋
Ergonomics focuses on human interaction with work tasks and technology and examines ways to amplify human capabilities, utilize human abilities and facilitate human efficiency. Both physical (anthopometric, biomechanical) and mental capacities of the human are discussed, as well as the design of the work task, tools, the interface with the machine and work procedures, with a set of engineering and managerial recommendations. The book has been designed to be international in orientation - and addresses contemporary issues such as back problems, design for the handicapped, cumulative trauma and computer workstations.
