註釋
In Otto's mind, a scientific researcher, a doubt or question of unknown origin is inserted, which consists in finding out about the current state of human civilization. Although it is not his area of expertise, such doubt arouses his curiosity and decides to investigate something about it. In his compilation of information, he finds that contemporary human beings seem not to have evolved, except in some material aspects, but they continue to behave like animals. He realizes that despite the increase in the amount of information we receive daily, ignorance seems to be a feature of current times. He recognizes that the important thing is not the quantity but the quality and veracity of the information. He is also concerned about the number of human beings who live at the expense of their contemporaries replicating the parasitic activity of other animal species.
