Libretto for an opera in three acts with many corrections in the manuscript. According to notes on file in the library, the opera La tourterelle, or les enfants dans le bois with music by Antoine-Frederic Gresnick and libretto by N.-E. Framery was performed in Paris, Théâtre Feydeau, 3 August 1797. The music was lost. The scene is Offering, village du Comté de Philadelphie. Characters are M. Goodman, ministre del la réligion anglicane; Mme. Goodman, sa femme; Francis, leur fils, agé de 18 ans; Benjamin et Polly, enfans d'un négotiant des Indes et élevés chez Goodman; Belton, cousin de ces enfans; troupe de sauvages; habitans du village d'Offering, f. 1v.
