"Letters from the travel writer, Richard Ford, to John Murray III, primarily relating to the publication of the revised edition of "A Handbook for Travellers in Spain", originally published in two volumes but which Murray was keen to issue as a single volume. It was published as a single volume in 1847, Ford's "Gatherings from Spain" having appeared the previous year as part of Murray's "Home and Colonial Library" series."
